Soooo.... this happened...😎 Trinidad’s brand new 🐶🐱 animal shelter facility received state licensing last week. 🙌Woot! Woot! We’re moving 🚛 in!

A modern animal shelter to serve our community has been a very long time coming… all made possible by our amazing community and supporters! Thank YOU! Thank each and every one of YOU! From each person who donated or volunteered, to everyone at the City of Trinidad, Bar NI, Trinidad Community Foundation, Walmart, Las Animas County, to all the contractors, to our founding members, to the Noah’s Ark teams past and current… from that very first new shelter donation given back in 1999… YOU all made this possible for the cats, dogs, kitties & puppies we all care for! THANK YOU! ❤

Our work is not done though — all of our shelter buddies and all of their equipment needs to be moved into the new location by Feb. 28th and we sure can use some help. Jordan's Way to Help Noah's Ark

Nationally Recognized Team to Visit Noah’s Ark TONIGHT!

We are so excited! Noah’s Ark Animal Welfare Association has been selected to be part of the Jordan’s Way 50-state tour to help raise awareness and funds needed for medical needs of Noah’s Ark shelter animals and community programs, such as spay/neuter & low-cost vaccines.

Jordan’s Way is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that hosts 4-hour fun-filled, live Facebook fundraisers at animal rescues and shelters across the country. Founded by Kris Rotonda to honor his best friend, a shelter dog named Jordan, Kris and his team have helped more than 250 shelters in over 40 states raise over $250 million since January. Kris and Jordan’s Way have been featured on The Hallmark Channel, the Dodo, and on local news stations across America. You can learn more about them on their website, www.JordansWayTour.com.

Kris and his team is visiting Noah’s Ark TONIGHT - RIGHT NOW from 6 pm to 10 pm, and everyone in the community is invited to be a part of the fun! The fundraising goal is to raise $15K and to have a ton of fun doing so! That’s where everyone within the Trinidad community can play a HUGE role!

Even in this snow storm, you can get involved is by donating directly to the online fundraiser. A gift of any donation will make a difference! Any and all donations will be announced live on air during the Facebook feed. All donations help! Here are the ways to make a donation:

Want to participate in person? Volunteers are needed to participate in fun challenges, like pie faces, getting locked up in kennel jail, push-up challenges, blind makeup challenges, snow angel challenges, calling donors, and so much more. Groups are welcome to participate as well – so sign up your softball team, the drama club, or your coworkers. Volunteers can also elect to compete against each other in challenges (which team can do the most pushups? Or who can throw a cream pie the furthest on target?). Volunteers are welcome to join in on the fun during the event and stay as long, or as short as they would like. To participate in a challenge, volunteers can stop in at 224 N. Chestnut St. in Trinidad, CO today between 6 pm and 10 pm, or sign up online to volunteer for this event.

Can't make it out in the snow or donate? No problem-- you can still help. Visit the Noah's Ark Facebook Fundraiser and INVITE all of your friends to the event!
